Arizona Army National Guard Soldiers with the 2-285th Assault Helicopter Battalion and the 2-149th General Support Aviation Battalion Medical Evacuation detachments conduct a two-day training exercise to support wildfire efforts on February 20, 2021, in Picacho, Ariz.

The training was a multi-agency joint firefighting exercise in partner with Casa Grande, Avra Valley, and Queen Valley Fire Departments, as well as the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management and the U.S. Forest Service.

Approximately 50 crews with the AZARNG were trained and certified for future support efforts for state and federal response.
