The Texas Canyon Hotshots are one of 14 hand crews working on the #CreekFire and one of three hotshot crews.

The 20-man crew, which hails from the Angeles National Forest outside of Los Angeles, has spent nearly two weeks on the fire. They were one of three hotshot crews that helped contain the fire in the area of Lake Thomas A. Edison when it was actively burning. The fire perimeter in that area has since been painted “black,” meaning it is fully contained.
