Colorado Springs, Colo. – Residents near El Paso County’s southern border are being evacuated due to a wildfire.

The fire is burning near 5800 Firebrand View in the Wigwam area, according to a tweet from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Residents are being evacuated to Prairie Heights Elementary School at 7930 Indian Village Heights, according to another tweet.

No further details were available at 1:45 p.m.
