Boy Scout Creates Wildfire Danger Rating Sign for New Hampshire Community

Sign will alert Route 125 travelers

BRENTWOOD, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire Boy Scout has created a wildfire danger rating sign for his community.

The sign by Logan Sisk, of Brentwood, will alert those traveling on Route 125 past the Brentwood Fire Department of the daily danger of wildfires. Adjectives ranging from low to extreme are used along with the image of Smokey Bear to remind residents to use caution with any outside burning.

Sisk, a senior at Exeter High School, is a member of Troop 332 in Exeter and is working on achieving his Eagle Scout rank.
