Salmon Fire, El Dorado County

At approximately 12:15 PM on Saturday, May 1, CalFire Amador-El Dorado Units responded to reports of a wildland fire in the area of Salmon Falls Road and Gallagher Road near Folsom Lake.

At this time, the fire is 5 percent contained and approximately 20 acres in size. Salmon Falls Road is closed in the area.
