A new wildland rig for Surprise

 

SVIweb – When spec’ing its new SVI-built Type 6 Wildland Unit, the Surprise, AZ Fire-Medical Department chose a Dodge Ram 5500 4×4 Crew Cab, powered by a 6.7L I6 Cummins Turbo Diesel.

This brush truck is equipped with a Waterous CAFSystem, 20-gal. foam system and a 300-gal. poly tank. Fitted with a 12,000-lb. Warn winch with rear receiver, a Zicomatic chainsaw mount, Liberty light bar with 20” flood/spot combo and 36” oversized all-terrain tires with 4″ lift, Surprise is ready for most any response, no matter how rugged the terrain.
