In preparation for fire season, the Corona Fire Department conducts annual RT-130 training to sharpen the skills required for wildland firefighting operations.

Topics include progressive hoselay operations, fire shelter deployment, tactics and strategy, as well as assessing fuel, weather, and topography.

This annual training ensures safe and effective operations during both small and large wildland fire incidents.
