350+ Acre Woods Fire in Mississippi

Harrison County Fire Rescue

Harrison County Fire Rescue along with fire crews from the Mississippi State Forestry Commission, and US Forest Service, were called out for a 350+ acre woods fire Sunday afternoon.

The fire was located on Grand Way Boulevard. in central Harrison County.

No structures were involved and no injuries were reported.

Fire trucks, fire dozers and a helicopter were used in containing the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
