A close call in Colorado in 2018

Wildland Fire LLC – On July 5, 2018, a Tornado formed in the vicinity of the Weston Pass Fire on the Pike National Forest in Colorado.

At approximately 1325 hours the tornado touched down in very close proximity to the wildland firefighters assigned to Division P of the Weston Pass Fire. For More on the Weston Pass Fire Tornado, read this report.
