Washington Wildfire Fully Contained

3,200-acre wildfire near the town of Coulee City

 

COULEE CITY, Wash. (AP) — A 3,200-acre wildfire near the town of Coulee City has been fully contained.

The fire started Saturday and had been burning in grass and sage lands about 8 miles southwest of Coulee City. For a time it threatened homes, crops and electrical infrastructure.

About 160 firefighters managed to fully contain it Sunday with no structures lost or injuries reported.
