Texas Wildfire Threatens Homes

Texas A&M assisting in Jones County

 

 

JONES COUNTY, Texas (KTXS) — Multiple agencies responded to a five acre wildfire in Jones County — just east of the Abilene landfill.

The fire — which started about 1 p.m., burned 50 antique cars on Private Road 343 and threatened several homes.
